Kreatura is committed to user data protection. This page explains how we collect and manage user information, what your data is used for and how you can access, object or ask removal of your data.
The data collected on this website are processed by the website operator. Please use our contact form in case you need to reach out to us.
We take data protection very seriously and we are actively working on newly introduced security measures as they become available. Our website and services use modern TLS encryption in order to protect visitors and users of our products. We treat personal data as confidential and in accordance with data protection laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We strive to ensure that the data we receive is:
We do not share the information we collect with third-party partners. We may disclose data in the following situations:
While we do not share the information we collect with third-party partners, it’s inescapable to use external services in today’s technology landscape. As such, these external services may see your activity on our website and in our products and might collect information on their own. These are clearly outlined in the data collection sections further down in the document.
The following sections outline the rights of individuals mandated by the General Data Protection Regulation.
Our products are being sold via FastSpring, a US-based company specialized in digital sales. We can only see the basic information that you provide during the checkout process. We cannot access and never store sensitive payment information such as credit card numbers. We store the following personal information:
The standalone (jQuery) version of LayerSlider does not collect any kind of information, does not contain any analytics or tracking solution.
The WordPress version of LayerSlider does not contain any analytics or tracking solutions. However, unlike the standalone version, we collect some limited information in order to validate your license and operate our services.
Upon activating our products using your license key, we will store a copy of the following information:
If you received LayerSlider bundled in another product, for example, in a WordPress theme, this does not apply to you.
In order to serve and check for updates, from time to time, your WordPress installation establishes a connection to our servers and sends basic information about your website. These are:
This information is used to validate your license and product activation, serve different versions of updates (e.g. early access beta versions) and to provide localized versions of the update information.
LayerSlider has built-in support for popular services like YouTube, Vimeo, and Google Fonts. These services can see your activity when you are using them. Starting with LayerSlider version 6.7.6, we are asking your consent to use these services. A new Privacy tab has also been added to the LayerSlider -> Options page where you can enable/disable these services.
Please note: it is entirely your decision whether you want to embed content from third parties or not. Services like these can only see your or your visitors’ activity in case you are using them. It is independent of LayerSlider and also applies to services that we may not directly support.
Some data are collected when you provide it to us, for example, by subscribing to our newsletter. Other data are collected automatically by our IT systems as soon as you enter our website. These are primarily technical data such as the web browser and operating system you are using.
When visiting our website, statistical analyses may be made of your usage behavior via Google Analytics. Your behavioral data is usually anonymous, or goes through pseudonymization, meaning that we will not be able to identify you from this data. More information can be found on Google’s Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance pages.
These analyses are used to improve our website by understanding the content you are interested in and to measure website traffic and the effectiveness of advertisement campaigns.
You can object to or completely opt-out of this analysis in several ways:
Some of our web pages use cookies. A cookie is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on your computer by the web browser while you are browsing. Cookies were designed to be a reliable mechanism for websites to remember stateful information, such as items added in the shopping cart in an online store for example. Some cookies perform essential functions in the modern web. Perhaps most importantly, authentication cookies are the most common method used by web servers to know whether the user is logged in or not, and which account they are logged in with.
This website uses the following cookies:
In case you object using cookies, you can configure your web browser to reject all cookies on this website. This process varies from browser to browser, but they usually offer a way to block cookies globally or on specified websites only.
Due to the nature of server environments, servers usually tend to record some basic information about your visit in log files. These are:
These log files are accessible for the website operator only. They primarily used to identify potential issues, for example, errors occurring on the page, inaccessible pages or dead URLs. Sometimes they are also used to measure the amount of website traffic.
We use server logs to maintain the stability of our website. We do not use these log files to combine with data from other sources. Log files are automatically deleted after a certain period when they are no longer useful for site maintenance.
Our newsletter service operates strictly on an opt-in basis. We do not send you promotional emails unless you consent and willingly provide your email address to us.
If you’ve purchased one of our products, we may send you version update notifications when it’s relevant to you. We may also send you important service updates in justified cases like a potential security breach.
You can opt-out and unsubscribe from any of our email lists at any time by logging in to Your Account.
We use MailerLite as a newsletter and email marketing provider. As such, MailerLite will be able to see your name, email address and certain interactions such as subscribing or unsubscribing.
For more information about how MailerLite handles and protects user data, please visit MailerLite’s Privacy Policy and Legal pages.
Some of our demonstration content you can find on this website include videos from popular video sharing sites like YouTube and Vimeo. LayerSlider relies on the developer tools that YouTube and Vimeo provide. If you visit one of our pages featuring a YouTube or Vimeo video, a connection to their servers will be established. If you have signed up and logged in to these services, they will be able to recognize your visit and associate it directly with your profile.

Google Fonts offers hundreds of open-source and free web fonts to customize website appearance with unique typography. We use Google Fonts throughout our website in order to ensure a uniform and pleasing appearance for every visitor. For this purpose, your browser has to connect to Google’s servers and Google may be able to see your visit.
Use of Google Fonts is unauthenticated. No cookies are sent by website visitors to the Google Fonts API. Requests to the Google Fonts API are made to resource-specific domains, such as fonts.googleapis.com or fonts.gstatic.com, so that your requests for fonts are separate from and do not contain any credentials you send to google.com while using other Google services that are authenticated, such as Gmail.
For more information about how Google handles and protects user data, please visit Google’s Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance as well as Google Font’s FAQ pages.
Some of our pages and demonstration content use Google Maps to show visitors interactive maps. If you visit one of our pages featuring a Google Maps map, a connection to Google’s servers will be established. If you have signed up and logged in to Google services, they will be able to recognize your visit and associate it directly with your profile.
For more information about how Google handles and protects user data, please visit Google’s Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance pages.
We are using Google reCAPTCHA to secure our contact forms and other interfaces against bots and spammers. Using Google reCAPTCHA is easy for people, but hard for bots and automated solutions, so they cannot post online forms. If you have signed up and logged in to Google services, they will be able to recognize your visit and associate it directly with your profile.
For more information about how Google handles and protects user data, please visit Google’s Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance pages.
There are a number of places on our website or through our services where you may click on a link to access other websites that do not operate under this Privacy Policy. Other websites and services may have entirely different practices of collecting and managing user data, thus we recommend to consult the Privacy Policy of any third-party.
We will occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices and services. When we apply changes to this Privacy Policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date located at the top of this page. If we make any material changes in the way we collect, use, and/or share your personal information, we will notify you and communicate these changes by visual elements on this site, on our social media channels, and by sending out emails whenever we can and it is appropriate.
